Mobile apps are reaching to every pocket rapidly. Since 2009 we have noticed that mobile Apps are increasing consistently and you will find a mobile app for almost every need.
Right from searching diapers for kids or searching partner to have kids :) One cannot deny that they are getting addicted of this technology.
According to survey based on the report from Forester Research, mobile users spend 80 percent of time in just five apps.
65% of tablet owners report using their tablet to watch TV at least once per day. 75% of users use smartphones and tablets to peruse social networking sites and do do this at least once a day on their phones.
And this will keep on increasing.
App Download Worldwide: Around 2,516 million Mobile Apps were downloaded in 2009 and by the end of 2015 it is recorded 1,79,628 Million. The stats will keep on increasing and till 2017 it is expected that it will increase to 268.69 billion.
Worldwide Mobile App Revenue: As the number of Mobile users are consistently increasing, the worldwide App Revenue is also increasing. In 2012, the worldwide mobile app revenues were amounted to $18.56 billion and by the end of 2016 it is expected to rise to $58.21 billion.
Percentage of Paid App revenue: Though Apps are increasing rapidly, but the Revenues from paid Apps are decreasing continuously. Reason for this decline is probably Android. Google offer almost 70% free apps of their total Apps just to promote his own product Android.
Free and Paid Mobile App Store Downloads � With thanks to Google Play store, in 2015,167.05 billion apps were downloaded for free and by the end of 2016 it is expected to $211 Billion. On the other hand paid apps downloads were 12.57 billion in 2015 and by the end of 2016 it is expected to decrease to 14.78 billion downloads.
